Special thanks

I was thinking back in Ireland when I went to MaGee University to do Community Drama for two years.  It was so nice to do that class with a variety backgrounds.  I made some nice friends and I had lost some of them due to stopped communicating. I did kept in touch with a couple of others.

I really do miss those times.  Would I do it again?  Of course.  Sometimes I wish there were parts of the class that was filmed.  But the only part of the class was filmed was our finals where we had to put on a play.  Sad to say that I had lost my copy.

Anyway, I know it was a long time since the Community Drama class, but I just had to post a web "Thank you" to James King so the world could see this.  He's a really good instructor and hopefully someday others will experience what I had went through.

I also would like to thank my friend Caroline Bradly, for the laughter.  Bernadette McFarland, another one who was in the class for being a really good person.

I am going to check out around the area if there are any workshops.  I am not sure if they do that but it would be nice to join a few of them.

The Meet

Well, Jerry and Catherine came over yesterday and it was nice to meet up with them again.  I had made home-made Cappuccino for the three of us and we had a nice chat.  We were having such a great time talking and laughing.  They are such nice people.  At first I thought they were together as boyfriend/girlfriend but discovered that they are actually cousins.

They were telling me that their goal is to film more in the Maine area.  It was interesting of them telling me all this because I had noticed that there aren't much filming around the Portland Maine and other parts of the Maine area.  It seems that Maine is not much of a target to be filming, however, Jerry and Catherine are presently working on together to change that so there will be more film production around the area.

I thought it was a wonderful thing to hear that two people are willing to go out and make a change.  Perhaps it would be more offers to those actors to get in more professionally rather than just theater work.  Maine needs more filming.  Its such a beautiful place and I don't see how professional film productions could even miss out on this wonderful state.  There are loads of nice scenes where they could use for settings.

Another project with the students

It is such a beautiful day, blue skies and not a cloud in the sky.  I decided to go out and into the time.  While I was in town there was a couple of who approached me.  They looked familiar to me but I couldn't place where I remember them from.  They also recognized me and they identified themselves as the students who were filming out in public. That's where remember them from.   They were the students from back around the beginning of the year where they asked me to play a role of a homeless person.  I was quite surprised to see them and remembered me.  They explained to me that they were doing another project for the summer and asked if I could be able to participate in their project.  I told them that I would do it and had fun with them last time.

Since I have Keurig coffee maker I invited them over to have a cappuccino or whichever and sit down and discuss this project they have in mind.  We'll see.

One Year Anniversary "This Life Values"

Wow it is amazing that my first episode from This Life Values is already a year filmed as of today.   If I had more experience with filming and more people to help me film the episode, I am sure that it would be a better episode.

I had realized that this episode, the scene of the fireworks was too long.  But I would say that it wasn't a bad episode for first timer.  Afterall, I did everything in this.
